Therapy that empowers your next chapter
For women navigating anxiety, life transitions, and the weight of everything you're holding: from your twenties through motherhood, perimenopause, and beyond.

Life doesn't fall neatly into chapters and neither do the emotions that come with it. Whether you're drowning in postpartum anxiety, grieving a future that disappeared with your child's diagnosis, white-knuckling through each day while everyone thinks you're fine, or standing in the middle of your life wondering "is this it?", coping strategies aren't enough. You need someone who actually understands what you're going through and has the clinical expertise to help you heal.

A therapist who meets women where they are
01
Every negative pregnancy test feels like losing another piece of your future
02
You're having intrusive thoughts that terrify you and you're scared to tell anyone
03
Everyone thinks you're fine but you're barely holding it together inside
04
Your child's diagnosis shattered everything you imagined and "acceptance" feels impossible
05
You're successful on paper but anxiety runs everything behind the scenes
06
You're in your twenties feeling like you should have it all figured out but you're actually paralyzed by all the options
07
Your body's changing in ways no one warned you about and doctors keep dismissing it as "just stress"
If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. And there's a path forward.

Casey Mouton
I didn’t just study maternal mental health in graduate school, I’ve lived it. That’s not to say my experience is the same as yours, but it means when you’re sitting across from me (virtually or in person), you’re not working with someone observing from a textbook. You’re working with someone who’s been in the trenches and came out the other side.

I know what it’s like to have postpartum anxiety that makes you check if your baby’s breathing multiple times a night, even though you know it’s not rational. I know the weight of loving your kid while simultaneously resenting how much your life changed. I know what it feels like to look fine on the outside while barely holding it together inside.
That lived experience is paired with advanced training in EMDR, perinatal mental health, CBT, and ACT. So you get someone who actually gets it AND has the clinical expertise to help you heal. Not just empathy. Not just techniques. Both.
And you won’t outgrow this practice. I support women from their twenties through perimenopause: fertility struggles, pregnancy anxiety, postpartum, special needs parenting, midlife transitions. Your needs will shift. You won’t have to start over.
xx, Casey
My training and background
01
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (#131699) and New Jersey
02
Advanced training in EMDR, CBT, ACT, and perinatal mental health
03
Perinatal Mental Health Certified through Postpartum Support International
04
Specialized experience supporting women through anxiety, reproductive mental health, and life transitions
You deserve a space where you feel met, guided, and supported, not left alone or pressured to “perform” your healing.
You've maybe tried therapy before and spent sessions talking in circles without clarity, or working with someone who felt more like a symptom-checker than an actual human. This is different.
Therapy works best as a relationship built on trust, collaboration, and thoughtful engagement. Here, therapy is a shared process. Thinking together, reflecting together, moving forward together at a pace that feels steady, respectful, and human.

What sets this work apart
01
Continuity through life’s transitions
Support that grows with you through fertility struggles, pregnancy, postpartum, special needs parenting, perimenopause (without having to rebuild trust with someone new every time life shifts).
02
No toxic positivity
Space for the soul-crushing parts of motherhood, the grief that doesn't resolve neatly, the rage that's inconvenient. All of it gets held here without pressure to make it pretty.
03
Evidence-based approach
EMDR for trauma processing, CBT for anxiety rewiring, skills-based interventions combined with relational depth. Not endless venting. Not one-size-fits-all protocols. Tailored treatment that moves you forward.
03
Freedom and flexibility
Our private pay model allows us to work without insurance restrictions. This means more time per session. No caps on EMDR or trauma work. Freedom to use approaches that actually work without asking for approval. Immediate availability instead of months-long waitlists.
